Hopeful Future

As the Archdiocese of Davao celebrates its Diamond Jubilee, we are invited to reflect on 75 years of faith and service while embracing a hopeful vision for the future. Beginning in February 2024, nine months of monthly activities have prepared us for the culminating celebration on November 30—a moment of gratitude and renewed commitment to God’s mission.

Aligned with Pope Francis’ Jubilee Year of Hope in 2025, this milestone challenges us to journey together, guided by the spirit of synodality and the vibrant participation of Basic Ecclesial Communities. As lifeblood of the Church, these communities remind us that faith grows through shared prayer, mutual support, and collective action.

As we look toward the Archdiocese’s centennial in 2049, may we remain rooted in the Gospel and inspired to foster evangelization, strengthen families, and encourage lay participation. Together, let us carry forward the light of hope for generations to come.
