Interfaith Gathering Unites Communities for Dialogue and Mission in Davao

Around 200 delegates from various faith traditions, including Muslims, indigenous peoples, Protestants, and Catholics, gathered on October 12, 2024, at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Davao City, for the “Missio Ad Gentes” event. This gathering, part of the Archdiocese of Davao’s Diamond Jubilee celebration, focused on fostering unity and peace through interfaith and inter-religious dialogue. Key speakers, including Fr. Pierre Samson, PME, Rev. Dr. Romeo Estabillo, and Ustadz Taha Ainin, emphasized collaboration and mutual respect. Msgr. Julius Rodulfa highlighted the importance of unity amidst diversity, and the event concluded with a commitment to continue this mission of peace.
