Year of Prayer Launch at Sto. Niño Vicariate

September 10, 2024, the Diocese of Tagum Pastoral Team, led by Rev. Fr. Freddie Barte, inaugurated the Year of Prayer at Sto. Niño Vicariate, specifically at San Agustine Parish, Panabo. The event commenced with a Paraliturgy, thoughtfully led by Brother Warren, guiding the faithful into a deeper experience of prayer.

After the Paraliturgy, the program featured four insightful speakers. Fr. Rex provided an overview of Pope Francis’ profound teachings on the Year of Prayer, highlighting its importance in renewing the spiritual life of the Church. Mr. and Mrs. Crausos spoke with great passion about the transformative role of prayer in family life. Mrs. Jane Crausos also shared her wisdom on devotion, emphasizing how it strengthens our relationship with God. Lastly, Fr. Rex also discussed the significance of the Liturgy and the Mass, stressing their essential role in enriching personal encounters with God.

As the Year of Prayer unfolds, it invites every member of the community to cultivate a deeper, more meaningful prayer life, fostering both personal and collective spiritual growth. This initiative aims to strengthen the Diocese in unity and faith, bringing the people closer to God through devotion and communal prayer.
