Kasalan ng Parokya: A Celebration of Love from Above

The recently concluded Kasalan ng Parokya of San Roque Parish has gracefully showered the entire compound with lots of love last July 20, 2024.

“Walay laing rason kung nganong naa mo diri, kung dili gugma rajud”, Rev. Fr. Cirilo Bermudez, Parish Administrator during his homily, he further labeled this celebration as “Pagsaulog sa gugma sa Ginoo, pagsaulog sa gugma sa matag-usa,” as the 27 couples received the Sacrament of Marriage together all in one Parish.

Certainly, nothing makes a lover feel more cherished than expressing their love at His altar, with His servants as witnesses. No walk is as grand as that of the bride, gracefully adorned in a white dress, holding an elegantly arranged bouquet, and accompanied by her groom in his finest suit.

Indeed, love is in the air as atmosphere was truly filled with so much sweetness as these 27 couples were exchanging their vows, saying I do’s, wearing wedding rings and even had their sincerest kisses.

On the other hand, the couples were also given a chance to do the traditional wine toasting and shared a slice of cake in front of the Parish, which made the couples and even audience thrilled, as a result they all shared a romantic ambience that gave butterfly to everyone’s stomach.

Also present in the event is Rev. Fr. Junel E. Bustamante who obviously felt so much love, as expressed by his wide smiles that signifies joy for a love from above is just celebrated.

“Salamat, congratulations!”, Mr. Elmo MikeMelon P. Sevilla said to the newly wed couples as he handed their prepared gift packs together with his wife Mrs. Faith Clarice C. Sevilla, both are PSKB Coordinators, who spearheaded the preparation of the said event along with the other helping hands.

Truly, love is the most beautiful thing that can ever happen, and it can only be perfectly expressed when it is blessed by God, for love must be a partnership where God is the center, the blood vessel of every relationship.

To God be the Glory.
