ANC’s Annual Sportsfest

In celebration of the Diamond Jubilee of the Archdiocese of Davao, the Archdiocesan Nourishment Center (ANC) held its annual sportsfest on July 26, 2024, at the Regional Major Seminary.

The event commenced with a Holy Mass presided over by Most Reverend Romulo G. Valles, D.D. accompanied by Monsignor Edgar Labagala, Fr. Randy Vergara, and Fr. Russell Bantiles. In his homily, Archbishop Valles acknowledged the children, their parents, and the staff from the various ANC branches. This was followed by a doxology performed by the Center Sisters and an opening speech by ANC Director, Reverend Monsignor Paul Cuison, who expressed, “Happy ko kung happy mo.”

The sportsfest featured a variety of games including group cheering, bulldozer roll, dragon trail, and cup relay. After a shared lunch, the games continued with basketball elimination rounds and the championship game, where ANC Bankerohan emerged as this year’s champion.
