Rev. Fr. Euricho “Ico” Maralit, OSJ Celebrates Solemn Thanksgiving Mass at San Francisco de Asis Parish
San Francisco de Asis Parish, January 28, 2024 – The Thanksgiving Mass, attended by Fr. Ico’s family and close friends, radiated a profound sense of gratitude and spiritual reflection. During the mass, Fr. Ico shared the significance of the priestly hands, emphasizing their sacred role in transforming the bread and wine into the body and blood of Jesus Christ. The congregation listened intently as Fr. Ico expressed his deep appreciation for the divine calling that led him to the priesthood.
Fr. Ico served as a deacon at San Francisco de Asis Parish, where he provided assistance and guidance to the Joseph Marello Youth (PSB) and other worship and evangelization ministries in their various activities and service to the parish.
The parishioners, led by Rev. Fr. Mario Holmina, OSJ, the parish priest of San Francisco de Asis Parish, along with Rev. Fr. Dennis Venus, OSJ, and Bro. Eduardo Sibonga, OSJ, expressed their immense joy and gratitude for the gift of Fr. Ico’s vocation. Fr. Ico’s addition to the congregation of the Oblates of Saint Joseph is seen as a blessing and a testament to the thriving spirit of religious vocations within the parish.
