Go Away, 2023

Babylonian astrologers 3,000 years ago believe they could look into the future by analyzing the movements of planets, stars, spheres. Today’s futurologist using computers and AI think they have a better, simpler way of knowing what the fates have for us. The reality is what happened before may happen again. It is very discomforting to see that looking back, things never change. Man’s pride, greed and stupidity compounded by the traps and temptations of the devil mean we repeat the same mistake. The Lord came down 2,000 years ago but we did not listen to his teachings and warnings.

Looking back, 1900 to 1999 was bad. We had world war one (1914-18), Spanish flu pandemic (1918-20) killing 20 million. Hitler’s terror plans (1938) led to invasions of Poland, France, Russia (1940-41). Japan’s Dec 7, 1941 Pearl Harbor attack led to the Second World War. Russia alone had 20 million dead while China, fighting Japan, lost 16 million. Every decade from 1900 to 1999 had its share of terror: 1950s Korean War, in Vietnam Afghanistan. Iran, Iraq, Syria; 1956 to 1996. Economic disasters in 1997, 2006, 2008. Gurus and astrologers treated 2019 as an uneventful year.

COVID-19 appeared in 2020 killing millions up to 2022. And crippled the world’s health, economy and food supply. We thought that 2023, the year of the rabbit would give the world a chance to recover by increasing food production and reviving the global economy. Instead, 2023 brought brutal hardships. On November 7, 2023 the world’s Meteorologists scientists said 2023 was the hottest year ever. We had the worst weather on record. The floods, fires, droughts globally made it impossible for the world to have food reserves for 2024 and 2025. The UN said the Nepal, Afghanistan, Syria, Turkey earthquakes, the gigantic forest fires in California, Canada, France, Portugal etc., the Sudan, Ukraine, Israel wars created millions of damages, deaths and wounds. And we still have November and December.

In 1917, Sta Maria appeared before 3 farm children in Fatima, Portugal — Francisco, Jacinta, and Lucia — and gave hopeful messages: 1. World War I will end in 1918. 2. Russia will become a communist nation and endanger the world but if the world will pray for conversion, the danger will disappear. In 1989 Russia was converted into a semi-capitalist state and released all its satellite colonies, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Ukraine, Latvia, etc. 3. Today we are still waiting for the third message. One of the top Broadway musical shows in the 1960s was “Stop the world, I want to get off”. I am not getting off. I want all to pray to God for help for mercy and to shower us with love, kindness, and peace. Meantime, 2023 Rabbit, go away now.
