Abp. Valles Challenges New Cursillo Leaders

Most Rev. Romulo G. Valles, DD sent forth 28 new Servant Leaders of the Secretariat and the School of Leaders (SOL) of the Cursillo Movement of the Archdiocese of Davao together with Rev. Fr. Jemasol Ortiz.

The Cursillo Movement or the Cursillos de Cristianidad is a group of Christian leaders (servants) formed into an effective team to carry out the Cursillo method of prayer, study and apostolic action and beyond, by taking the responsibility in the transformation of environments.

“Sa pagserbisyo, lig-on sa pagtoo” (In serving, [one] must be strong in faith); Archbishop Valles challenged the new Leaders of the movement.

This new set of leaders shall serve for three years which will include facilitating the 60th Grand Ultreya on September 24, 2024. There is an upcoming Men’s Cursillo on November 30 to December 3, 2023 and Women’s Cursillo on January 25-28, 2024 at the Sacred Heart (Brothers) Spirituality and Formation Center in Catalunan Grande.
