Strengthening Faith and Community Bonds: A Pastoral Visit to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish

In a vibrant and heartwarming display of faith and community, Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish led by Rev. Fr. Jesus H. Samaniego, Parish Priest welcomed Archbishop Romulo G. Valles D.D for a three-day pastoral visit that left a lasting impact on the church and its members.

Last October 9, the visit commenced with a Mass, celebrated by Archbishop Valles and co-celebrated by Msgr. Jimmy Gamboa and Rev. Fr. Jesus Samaniego uniting the congregation in prayer and gratitude. It was participated by all the GSL together with the Pundok Banay. Following this, the bishop reviewed and signed the parish’s financial records and canonical books, emphasizing accountability and stewardship.

On the second day of the visitation, October 10, the bishop engaged in meaningful dialogue with servant leaders, parish workers, volunteers, and the stewardship committee. These interactions underscored the dedication of the community’s members.

The visit culminated on the third day with a fellowship dinner and dialogue with the worship ministry and mandated organizations.

This visit reinforced the parish’s commitment to faith and unity, providing a source of strength and solace for its members in challenging times. It was a powerful testament to the enduring power of faith and the importance of community in the journey of spiritual growth. (Alynna Maree Ronolo)
