Diocese of Tagum’s Marian Festival

August 30 – September 08, 2023 — The Queen of Apostles College Seminary (QACS) dedicated unwavering support throughout the Marian Festival of the Diocese of Tagum, spanning from the Novena Masses leading up to the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Among the many revered images on display at the Marian exhibit, the elegant and historically significant image of Mary, Queen of the Apostles, captivated the hearts of daily pilgrims.

Throughout the entire Novena Masses in honor of the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the seminarians of QACS devotedly served during the noon Eucharistic celebrations. Additionally, on September 3rd, selected members of the QACS Harana ensemble participated in the Marian Festival’s “Harana Para Kang Maria,” presenting a collection of beautiful Marian hymns and songs as a heartfelt tribute to the Blessed Lady.

On the feast day of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a solemn Eucharistic celebration was presided by Fr. Arnold Tiplaca, DCT Superintendent, with the seminary fathers as concelebrants. The seminarians served both as altar servers and members of the choir during this solemn Eucharistic celebration.

May Mary’s intercession shield us and draw us nearer to her Son, Jesus.
