M.A. Sisters Celebrate Their Gems Of Vocation

On the occasion of the feast of the Assumption August 15, members of the Missionaries of the Assumption gathered together to celebrate the gems of vocation in the community.

This is also their opportunity to celebrate their growth after their separation from their mother congregation alongside the growth of the Assumption College of Davao which was turned over from the mother congregation to the Missionaries of the Assumption.

To celebrate these milestones, a Holy Eucharist was presided over by Fr. Marbendear Morallas on August 15. The Friends of the Assumption and some ACD employees were also present during the event.

On that day the m.a. Sisters are celebrating the 40th anniversary of Sr. Corazon Torollo, m.a., and Sr. Julita Encarnacion, m.a. as religious sisters which they also consider as gems of vocation. The community is looking forward to more years ahead as they continue to do their mission amidst the challenges. (Harold Jhon A. Gimeno)
