You are what you eat
36 GKK-based children of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Ma-a who were taught by the catechists in their respective chapels, received the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist last Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.
Fr. Ranebe Magallanes officiated the sacrament and presided the Eucharistic celebration.
In his homily, Fr. Magallanes said, “you are what you eat.” It is important not only to eat healthy food but it is better to partake the Lord’s banquet of love.
The First Holy Communion is a special occasion for the 36 children because it is their first time to receive the Eucharist, the symbol of Christ’s body and blood.
Fr. Magallanes then told the parents of the first communicants to encourage their children to attend the Holy Mass every Sunday. (Pamela Villa | SoCCom)
