The Shepherding Has Begun

The pastoral team headed by Most Rev. Abel C. Apigo, DD continues the scheduled pastoral visit in the parish of San Isidro Labrador in Banaybanay, Davao Oriental.

The team was happily received by the parishioners headed by Rev. Fr. Edito S. Baño, parish priest and Rev. Fr. Ricky Montero.

The pastoral visit began with the Rite of Welcome during which the Bishop and the pastoral team were formally welcomed by the priests and the lay leaders. The Bishop, on the other hand, explained to the faithful the intentions of the said visit, namely: to have dialogue with the faithful, to check the situation of the parish, to check the canonical books and documents and also to make sure that the sacraments are properly administered to the faithful.
