MPS-LC Learners Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary San Francisco Parish of Tagakpan

MPS-LC Learners spotted during the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Celebration

Last September 8, 2022, the San Francisco Parish of Tagakpan, Tugbok, Davao City, celebrated the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The simple celebration started at 5:00 in the morning with the holy rosary led by representatives of each GKK. Afterwards, a mass was offered, presided by Rev. Father Dennis Venus, OSJ.

The Eucharistic celebration ended with the offering of flowers as a symbol of love and respect to the Blessed Virgin Mary. All parishioners who attended the mass brought their flowers as their presents to Mary. However, a group of kindergartens from Maria Perpetuo Socorro (MPS) – Learning Center caught everyone’s attention as they filled the line with cuteness and gracefulness. At such a young age, these kids were taught that the offering of flowers is a sign of commemorating the significance of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Jesus Christ’s life.

With complete gratitude, Sister Neomi from the Maria Perpetuo Socorro (MPS) sisters appreciated everyone who helped them prepare the celebration. The event wouldn’t be possible without the presence of everyone who supported them along the way. She also wanted to thank the MPS-LC learners and their parents who joined their kids at the Eucharistic Celebration. (April Desiree Estipona)
