Davao Catholic Riders’ Bayanihan Spirit

On Sunday, March 13, 2022, members of the Davao Catholic Riders Club continued their mission to help our brothers and sisters who are in need. We commonly call this as bayanihan. This is unique among Filipinos to be always ready to help fellow citizens without expecting anything in return.

Ronald Parana, a member of this club and also a GKK officer of the St. Joseph the Worker Chapel at Jade Valley Tigatto initiated this trip in order to send more hands in helping clean the chapel. Due to the flood last March 7, 2022 the chapel and its grounds were filled with mud and dirt. Among the members of the club, 15 of them came to join and clean, together with 8 GKK members and started cleaning at 7:00 in the morning.

The Davao Catholic Riders Club has had many charitable works since December last year and is planning to continue this tradition not only to other Catholic brothers and sisters but also to all Filipinos in different religions. (Christine Camus)
