Beyond Space, Day and Time

The saints and our beloved departed are now living beyond date and time. They are now freed from the limits of time and space. But we are in communion with them as they are in communion with God. This is the reason behind our celebration on All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day. As St. Paul says, nothing can separate us from the love of Christ.

No matter how we transfer the date, no matter how we are prohibited to visit the graves of our loved ones and offer remembrance of the saints as we traditionally observe it on the first two days of November, we can still be one with them. This we do as we offer masses for them, light a candle and say our prayers for them. We ask the intercession of the saints and we pray for the souls in purgatory beyond space, day and time.
