Consecrating our hearts to Mary

How are we to consecrate our hearts to Mama Mary? Inspired by Fr. Michael Gaitley’s reflection, we may take the following suggestions:

First, ask Mama Mary to lend her heart to us. If she lends her heart to us, we will become docile like her. We will be able to let the Word of God live in us. Like Mama Mary’s heart, always ready to put herself at the disposal of the Father, we will learn how to fully surrender ourselves to God as she did.

Second, allow Mama Mary to dwell in our hearts. If she dwells in our heart, she will empower us to feel like her, to act like her and to think like her. Allowing her to live in our heart will surely lead us to behave as she did. Imitating her example is the surest way to live in peace and serenity.

Mam Mary, make our hearts like unto thine. Amen.
