Mama Mary, intercede for us to end pandemic

In response to Pope Francis’ call to ask for the intercession of Mama Mary throughout the month of May to end the pandemic, we include in our personal, family and community devotion of the Holy Rosary this noble intention. The intensity of our prayer must find strength in our closeness to our heavenly Mother. She tells the servants in the wedding at Cana to follow what Jesus tells them. If Mary tells her Son Jesus to stop all evil, including this pandemic, we are assured of the power of the Most High to protect us. And so, we pray:

“Virgin Mary, turn your merciful eyes towards us amid this coronavirus pandemic!”

“Mother of God and our Mother, pray for us to God, the Father of mercies, that this great suffering may end and that hope and peace may dawn anew. Plead with your divine Son, as you did at Cana, so that the families of the sick and the victims be comforted, and their hearts be opened to confidence and trust.”
