Change of attitude

Safety rather than security only. This we need to change as we observe Fire Prevention Month every March. Many of our buildings, as observed, are for security only, like having grills and not having emergency exits. It is good to be secure but it is also necessary to be safe, especially in the face of the threat of disaster brought about by fire. Without emergency exits, the possibility of damage increases.

Among other attitudes that need change in order to avoid fire are: illegal selling of tanks to be used for cooking and using extension wires for the duration of 24 hours. When will we ever learn that due to change of climate, every day is fire prevention day?
