The Holy Family
Although the family has been so challenged these days of the pandemic. We better see the good things that have been happening around us.
Like the holy family, more time is spent to be together these days. Time to be together in prayer, meals, chores at home and the like are worth thanking the Lord for. Knowing each other more even when patience is tested is worth appreciating as an opportunity for bonding.
Like the holy family, the sense of gratitude must reign in each one. Gratitude is easy when in the midst of difficulty, each one realizes that things become light when the relationship is good. No matter the challenge, when each one contributes to the solution, there is so much hope.
Like the holy family who open themselves to reach out to others, each of our families must also think of those who are less fortunate these days. There are those whose parents have been laid off from work. We need to extend our helping hand to them. There are those whose loved ones have become sick and have died of COVID-19. We need to console them.
May the holy family of Joseph, Mary and Jesus strengthen each or our families to face the challenge of family life!
