Official schedule for localized, protocol-abiding Traslacion 2021 in Davao City

To our fellow devotees of the Black Nazarene and to all Catholic faithful in the City of Davao:

We are happy to announce the Official Schedule of Activities for the upcoming #Traslacion2021 in our City. We remind those who would join in the celebration of the feast of the Black Nazarene that they would religiously abide by the health protocol set by our local government to lessen the risk of the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in our City, and we strictly advise all devotees and faithful to refrain from touching the official replica image for optimal safety. There will be no “foot procession” and Masses and prayers will be offered in its place. We hope and pray that by God’s protection and grace, we will have a safe and solemn localized Traslacion 2021 in our City and may this simple observance of this fiesta inspire us to move forward amidst all trials and to share the message of hope of the Risen Christ to those who are in need of His Merciful Love.

The Official Replica of the Black Nazarene from Quiapo Church is currently enshrined at the Our Lady of Peñafrancia GKK Chapel, DECA Homes Esperanza, Tigatto, Buhangin, Davao City.
