286 Individuals set to be ready for ALS National Exam amidst the Pandemic
Full of enthusiasm ALS implementers of DepEd Tibungco District helped the 286 learners to complete the academic requirements in order to be qualified for the ALS A & E National Examination next year.
District ALS COORDINATOR Sir Alvin Olaer spearheaded the campaign to help the learners to complete all requirements especially Portfolio for them to be qualified for the said National Examination. “…tabangan nato ang mga learners na maka-comply,” Olaer said in one of the meetings of ALS teachers.
Series of planning and preparations were done by the implementers amidst the pandemic just to manifest their support to the learners.
They called out all learners using the different social media platforms just to monitor and mentor the process in gathering all data for the Presentation Portfolio.
When GCQ was implemented in the City of Davao, Instructional Managers in different Community Learning Centers set schedules for the actual evaluation of Presentation Portfolio.
After the Instructional Managers’ evaluation in different Community Learning Centers, District Portfolio Assessment was scheduled by Sir Olaer and it was successfully conducted with the cooperation of the learners.
Then, ALS Division Personnel of Davao City conducted a Division Assessment where Ma’am Cristita Bation, Education Program Specialist for ALS, evaluated an approximately 286 portfolios and all accumulated a passing rate.
Likewise, Sir Ramil Sison, one of the Mobile Teachers, was acknowledged for having 48 learners’ portfolio evaluated on that day.
Though the evaluation was conducted during the pandemic, safety and health protocols were not compromised due to a constant reminder of wearing face mask and face shield also to observe social distancing. (Rusty Corsame)
