Iglesia ni Cristo, Not Iglesia ni Kristo
This is our first correction of the official name of the popular religion founded in the Philippines by Felix Manalo. It can be referred to as INC for short, instead of INK.
The second is to call the present head as Executive Minister instead of Supremo. And Eduardo Villanueva Manalo occupies that position concurrently. His administrative offices are located in INC Central Office Complex, Quezon City, Philippines.
The third is the word “invitating”. This was not the official invitation by the INC Executive Minister. It was an informal proposal by two local ministers Ka EJ Esmundo of the INC Church in Brgy. Bacaca and by Ka Mark Tumamao of the INC Cathedral on Malvar Street, Davao City. Yes, they were inviting me to their assembly or gathering.
The fourth is my excited presumption that “inviting” me is a clear openness and readiness of the INC people to be a partner in interfaith dialogues. My “political” friendship with Supreme Court associate justice Tuquero, not Quitero, and Ka Erdz Codero, both INC officials, would facilitate the future official introduction.
