Then third living message from the scriptures and today coming from the Gospel. Ang John chapter 3 famous kaayo ni sa second half sa reading karon kay ang famous memorize chapter 3 because ana man na “For God so loved the world… et cetera, et cetera” mao ng memorize-on. That He gave his only Son for us mao nga famous nga line. I will not dwell on it but remember that famous line “For God so loved the world” is the answer of Jesus to Nicodemus. Nangutana si Nicodemus and then si John nga nagsulat if you read it carefully naa siya’y drama that Nicodemus came in the evening. Nicodemus is a man of darkness, ana na si John light and darkness. So Nicodemus was in the dark and he went to see Jesus, to talk to Jesus, to confer with Jesus – the light. Sister, do not forget the good works of the Lord, do not forget that many times we are in the dark. As soon as religious and priest we try to think ourselves that we are in the light we would not see the true light of Jesus.

So we get a lesson here, do not forget the lesson of Nicodemus, he felt, he recognized. The first step is to recognize that we are in the dark and we from time to time or every time we need to go to Jesus our light. And then we realize that in our religious life is the only source of strength, source of inspiration but basically the source of joy. With this Sister, I know nga daghan ka’g pasalamatan: ang imong mga families, ang imong friends. I know also that you would thank so much imong mga igsoon sa community. But we know today that aside from the lateral consideration, in this Holy Eucharist, this noon our dimension, our orientation is raising our gaze to heaven, to Jesus the one who died on the cross so that we may have life eternal. It is always Sister a beautiful day looking back at 25 years and hopefully with joy and courage. Looking forward to more years and hoping another 25 years with your TDM community and serving God’s people in the church. Always truthfully if your mission remains mainly in the Davao region, in our area in DADITAMA. Sister we congratulate you, we coming from us but we congratulate you with the Lord who is the source of grace and joy for each one of us and especially for you today as you celebrate your silver anniversary as a TDM sister.
