Peace!
On the recommendation of those in charge of their seminary formation and those in charge of their formation in the archdiocese, Reverend Deacons MARVIN MAGALLANES DEL CAMPO of San Antonio de Padua Parish in Agdao and EFREN ANTIGA GUBAC JR. of Immaculate Conception Parish in Mintal have been approved and accepted for ordination to the priesthood.
Relative to the above, you are hereby requested to have the following announcement read publicly at all Masses on three(3) consecutive Sundays — August 30, September 6 and 13, 2020 — and to request those who have any objection to their ordination to put the factual evidence in writing, addressed to the Archbishop, with name and address of the sender. Here is the announcement:
“The REVEREND EFREN ANTIGA GUBAC JR. is to be ordained priest on September 21, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Parish in Mintal, and the REVEREND MARVIN MAGALLANES DEL CAMPO on September 23, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. at San Antonio de Padua Parish in Agdao. Those who have objections to their ordination to the priesthood are requested to inform the Archbishop of Davao, in writing, stating the factual bases for the objections, with name and contact details of the sender. Prayers for our deacons are very much appreciated. Thank you very much.”
“Si REBERENDO EFREN ANTIGA GUBAC JR. pagaordinahan sa pagka-pari karong Septembre 21, 2020 sa alas 9:00 sa buntag sa Immaculate Conception Parish sa Mintal, ug si REBERENDO MARVIN MAGALLANES DEL CAMPO karong Septembre 23, 2020 sa alas 9:00 sa buntag sa San Antonio de Padua Parish sa Agdao. Giawhag kadtong adunay mga pagbabag nga may kalabutan sa maong ordinasyon sa pagpaabot niini ngadto sa Arsobispo sa Davao pinaagi sa pagsulat sa tinuod nga mga basihanan sa mga reklamo, uban sa pangalan ug contact details sa nagpadala. Giawhag usab ang tanan sa pag-ampo alang sa atong mga diakono. Daghang salamat.”
