Tandag bishop ordains new priest

Bishop Raul Dael of Tandag has ordained a new priest who is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier Regional Major Seminary of Mindanao in Davao City.

Fr. Rodel Alameda was ordained to the priesthood through the laying on of hands of the bishop on his head in a ceremony held March 10, 9:00 AM at the Sto. Niño Quasi Parish in San Agustin, Surigao del Sur.

The newly ordained priest chose the theme “My Lord and My God.” (John 20:28) for his priestly ordination.
Family and friends including those from Davao City and different cities in Mindanao especially his classmates in the seminary have attended the ordination.

Fr. Alameda then celebrated his thanksgiving mass at 2:00 PM in the same parish.
