OLLP launched Bible Gallery

The Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Bangkal had launched its Bible Month with a Bible Gallery held at its parish gymnasium last January 2020.

More than a hundred Bibles of different versions were exhibited in the parish gym for the parishioners and church goers to view.

Owned by Bro. Jun Jumo of the OLLP Bible Apostolate who started collecting bibles of different versions since 1990s, the bibles were exhibited to the public in response to the theme: “The Bible Transforms and Unites the Nation”.

“Truly the bible unites the nation,” echoed Bro Jumo. “Through these bibles that were published in different versions, the people are still united in one faith, through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Bro. Jumo’s collection of both Catholic and Protestant bibles include, among others, Sagrada Biblia (Spanish), Biblia Sacra Vulgata (Latin), Douay-Rhems version and The Jerusalem Bible version. (Vonz M. Hijada | OLLP SoCCom)
