10 ways to celebrate National Bible Month

As the Philippines celebrates National Bible Month this Month and the National Bible Sunday, the Philippine Bible Society is giving 10 ways on how people can celebrate this Book that unites and transforms a nation.

1. LOBBY. Philippine Bible Society (PBS) says that every city, municipality, barangay, or school can celebrate National Month by making it as an institutional activity. Lobby if you must.
2. DISPLAY. PBS suggests posting of National Bible Month posters, streamers and tarpaulins in areas like school campus, workplace bulletins and church announcement corners.
3. BECOME. Become a PBS Bible Ambassador to know the latest NBM initiatives that one can be part of.
4. CONDUCT. Conduct activities like National Bible Month parade, motorcade, or Bible rally.
5. STAGE. Stage Bible quizzes, poster-making contests, or even essay-writing competitions.
6. PERFORM. Stage creative ways to showcase Bible knowledge like theatre performances, special dance numbers and also concerts.
7. RUN. Conduct fun sports events like running marathons, group Zumba, jogging and physical fitness-spiritual wellness talks.
8. LAUNCH. Launching a Bible distribution program is a recommendable activity.
9. READ. Conduct an i-Proclaim activity like public Bible reading.
10. HOLD. Holding of a special National Bible Month celebration in the parish, school or office.
