Twenty-nine (29) St. Joseph Parish leaders, together with the four (4) Parish animators namely: Fr. Bong Dublan, Jr., Fr. Pete Maniwang, Sr. Cha Mamotho and Ms. Nenette Delfin, attended the three-day Parish Strategic Planning, facilitated by Mr. Roger Macatol on November 15-17, 2019 at the Revier Retreat House, Catalunan Grande, Davao City.
The objectives of the said strategic planning is for the parish to be able to articulate a five year plan, which included the following: the review of the formulated vision-mission of the parish; the use of change language in defining objectives sharpening indicators and clarifying their use; the apply of change perspective in developing baseline and baseline indicators. And development of a draft plan for implementation in the parish and GKKs.
The leader-participants belong to the 11 ministerial programs in the parish. It was a comprehensive strategic planning, though, very tiresome for the participants, but feeling happy, fulfilling and satisfied, as they aspire to live stewardship – a way of life, as a concrete expression of faith, hope and love of Christ through serving the people especially the least, lost and last. United with the Holy spirit, inspired by the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Joseph, our patron.
Fr. Bong Dublan, Jr. the Parish Priest was very thankful to all the leader–participants for their hard work, active participation and involvement which made the Parish 5-year strategic planning a success. Congratulations to all the participants. (Rita C. Mariano)
