Stuck in Traffic? Pray the Holy Rosary

Are you stuck in traffic? Then, pray the Holy Rosary rather than cursing the situation or scrolling in your phone’s various social media apps. If you already memorized the various mysteries then you can pray the rosary by using your rosary bracelet, rosary ring or rosary beads in a discrete manner.

On the other hand, I just recently discovered (thanks to my two millennial daughters) that I can download in the YouTube app of my cellphone the virtual recitation of the various mysteries of the Holy Rosary. If you have an internet connection, just open the YouTube app in your mobile phone and search for virtual rosary. You may choose the mysteries and press download. After you have downloaded it, you can listen to it anytime, anywhere without being online as long as you use your YouTube app within 29 days. With that, I listen through my earphones and pray with the virtual rosary when I’m commuting these days, whether it’s traffic or not. When I’m doing it, I can’t seem to know that time passes by and I’ve already arrived in my destination.

Another way of praying the rosary is by reciting its mysteries in a meditative manner in your own room, in a church or in a chapel facing the altar whether alone, with your family, friends or co-members of the church.

Moreover, you may also pray the rosary by tuning in the radio every 6 o’clock in the evening at 89.9 DXGN Spirit FM our only Catholic FM radio station where a group of individuals and children recites the different mysteries of the rosary everyday.

Praying the rosary brings us closer to Mama Mary and Jesus as we meditate about their lives as stipulated in the various mysteries. This is more important whether or not our intentions are being answered. But as for me, I can attest that most of my prayer intentions were answered. So let us start the habit of praying the rosary, who knows what’s in store for you… an answer for your prayer request or a blessing may come your way.
