Concert for pediatric patients, exempted from tax

In a Regular Session of the 19th City Council of Davao, the Anak Kaugmaon Foundation, Inc. President, Michael Manalaysay requested 5% exemption of the amusement tax for the “Ryan Ryan”, The Maestro and the Cayabyab singers.

The said funds will be directed to the upcoming charity concert.

The foundation was founded by the Southeastern Philippine Medical Center (SPMC), 20 years SEC registered, which aims to help the critically-ill patients in the pediatric department who lacks financial support.

Manalaysay briefly explained the current situation in the pediatrics department and the increasing number of dengue cases. He said in his statement that it needs a time to time monitoring.

With the collected charity fund, additional beds in the pediatrics department are on sight since it only has 16 beds as of date.
