DaDiTaMa-wide Youth Marian Conference
An excerpt from the talk of Ms. Angelyn Dee
“Power, Pleasure, Possession and Prestige. Do not seek these things for they will become False Gods,” Ms. Angelyn Dee on her sharing the story of the miracle at Fatima.
“God is a God of new beginning. Every moment is a new beginning. Practice detachments to the four P’s and attach yourself to the Lord,” she added.
It was those challenging words that would kindle the fire of faith in the Lord through Mary who always has an eye on us. Every youth needs to pray the rosary and should also ask the intercession of Mama Mary and pray for the reparation of sins committed and the sins of others.
It was an amazing and promising feeling to reflect on the words of Jesus through St. Faustina. “What gives joy to me is when a soul trusts in me completely.”
Ms. Dee also gives us lessons from the angel: Believe, Adore, Trust, Love God, Ask God’s Pardon and Pray with great respect and reverence. “DaDiTaMa Youth, make everything your can. Offer a sacrifice and lay it to God.”
Will you do what our Blessed Lady asked at Fatima? “If we are to have peace, we must all obey the request made at Fatima,” Pope Pius XII, 1958.
“Mass is the pinnacle of all prayers. You don’t have to die to go in heaven. You just have to attend the mass,” she pointed out. As Ms. Dee goes on to the two parts of the story, Fatima: The Unfolding Story and Fatima: The Unfinished Story, there was an unexplainable feeling. A feeling that fuels me to venerate more on Mama Mary like I used to.
“You don’t have to doubt God’s love,” she said.
It is good to have known the stories that have deeply grounded with more than fact and conviction. That our catholic faith taught us to remain in God and fully trust on His plans. That the Lady at Fatima showed to the three children: Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco the unfading remedies to end the war. But why does the war still goes on nowadays? As Archbishop Valles asked to the young people, “Do we consistently do what our Lady told us?” (Rhizter Rafaela | SoCCom Padada)
