Bridge closed

The City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO) bared rerouting scheme for the Talomo 2 Bridge starting April 14, 2019.

In an advisory posted in their Facebook page, the CTTMO announced traffic schemes that will start on the said date for the repair and rehabilitation of the cited bridge.

Last year, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) XI confirmed the necessity of repair of the said bridge due to visible cracks linked to the passage of overloaded trucks.

According to DPWH XI spokesperson Dean Ortiz, there will be major repairs on the bridge.

“We have to change the girders of the bridge, slabs, and the pavement,” Ortiz said. “We won’t really allow the bridge to be passed until it is done. We eye the completion of the repair in two or three months.”
