Sacrifice Day: A monthly Devotion to the Divine Mercy

Every 2nd day of each month is considered a “Sacrifice Day” for the Divine Mercy devotees. They gather for long hours of prayers asking penance and interceding for special petitions. They invite a speaker to come and give them a recollection-like activity where they observe the 20 mercy mysteries, 14 mercy stations, 7 last words, healing mass and the most important portion is the enthronement of the Divine Mercy. The usual venue for this activity is at Divine Mercy Apostolic Center (DMAC) in Sinawilan Hills, Digos City.

For the first time as a starter for the year 2019, they held the Sacrifice Day at Immaculate Conception Parish in Kiblawan, Davao del Sur. They started the activities as early as 6 AM. Kiblawan had a beautiful response to this activity having recorded 400 plus devotes who came and joined in every single activity from morning till dusk. They wrapped up the day with a Healing Mass presided by Fr. Sanny Villahermosa. (Blaze Q. Cantaros)
