Interesting Facts about Bishop-Elect Ronald Lunas

Rev. Fr. Ronald Lunas, DCD, fondly called as Fr. Bong by everyone was ordained a priest on April 7, 1992 by Bishop Generoso Camina, DD, the first Bishop of the Diocese of Digos.

Twenty six years later, the Vatican announced that the Holy Father Francis has appointed him as Bishop of the Diocese of Pagadian, Zamboanga del Sur. It was on November 22, 2018, the birthday of the late Bishop Camina who ordained him.

Bishop Generoso Camina is the first Bishop of the Diocese of Digos and Bishop-Elect Ronald Lunas is the first Bishop homegrown from the Diocese of Digos.
