Inter-vicariate Lourdes Convention Chronicle of Events
Here’s showing you a chronicle of events during the Inter-vicariate Lourdes’ convention held in San Isidro Parish in Digos City. The events where thoroughly followed and documented by Revallin de la Cruz, a St. Joseph Parish SocCom and a long-time member of the Confraternity of Our Lady of Lourdes in St. Joseph Parish, Santa Cruz.
Small and big group sharing: The participants who were grouped randomly were gathered in separate venues to talk about Fr Bong’s message to them during the homily: It was noted that Fr Bong told the girls that Mary as a maturing lady had different plans for her life, for her future. But she obeyed what the angel had told her and followed the will of God. The girls this time took the subject as their point of sharing.
Team building games: The participants played the game called Message Relay where their abilities to decode and send messages effectively was s being tested. The girls had fun recognizing the errors in between and finding meaning despite the errors made. A test of understanding and staying patient were both a challenge as they went along.
The Holy Eucharist: After a short break from the talk that was given by Bishop Elect Ronald Lunas, the girls freshened up and donned their white gala dress to attend the Holy Mass which happened at the San Isidro Parish around 6PM.
Solidarity Night: The girls displayed their well- prepared intermission numbers ranging from cultural shows, musical performances and modern ethnic- interpretative dances.
Celebration of the Holy Eucharist: In Honor of our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, the girls proceeded to the church after the procession to celebrate the Eucharist with Rev Fr Kristian Peter Edwyn Dorilag presiding.
