Decision Making (Strong in Faith)
Dear KNOT,
Nagmamahal,
Oliver

Dear Oliver,
We often hear others say that everything that happens in our life is allowed by God for a reason. However, we may not always be aware of these reasons, hence, we go through life trusting that He only wants what is good for us.
After finding your job to be very demanding of your time and energy such that you spend less time with your family, changing job is a major decision that will greatly affect your family’s financial needs. You have gone through a lot of struggles and sacrifices for your family and time has come that you are contemplating a change of job. You take the risk of joblessness while looking for other greener pastures that could satisfy your desire to be with your family as well as better take home pay. And now you ask, “With what we are going through, is this what God wants for us?” This question is not alien to others as well, especially when they are in the midst of difficult times. Your struggles and difficulties are meant to make you stronger as a person, strengthen your faith as well as to attain deeper relationship with God.
Man proposes, God disposes. Pray, without ceasing, over this decision to change job. God will take care of you; have confidence in His Divine Providence. Be open to whatever response you might receive. Remember, this is for sure, He wants what is best for you though it may not be in accordance to your expectations. God bless you. – DJ Cheng and Ate Emily
