Advent Recollection Talks About Spiritual Preparedness

The Diocesan Vocation Apostolates (DVA) took a day off to attend a whole day recollection with its director Rev. Fr. Kristian Peter Dorilag, DCD as their retreat master. The place was very conducive for a day of silence and prayer at the St. John Paul II Seminary in Sinawilan, Digos City. About 160 members coming from the different DVA in different parishes came to attend. They celebrated the Holy Eucharist with Fr. Dorilag presiding. The input given to the participants was centered on the Advent: its true meaning and how Catholics better prepare for the coming of the Messiah. They feasted on their packed provisions for lunch and later enjoyed another moment of prayer in silence for their own personal intentions for the coming new year. The diocesan president, Ma’am Ching Cadungog came to give a small talk. They shared coffee and were bound home at 3 PM. (Blaze Q. Cantaros | SUGID SoCCom)
