Way calling pagkapari
Dear KNOT,
Sa pagdiriwang ng Year of the Clergy and Consecrated Persons, hayaan mong ishare ko ang aking experience.
Nahimo nakong point of reference ang akong pagkadisgrasya tong 14 years old pa ko. Nagka-uyab ko, 7 years apan wala gihapon mi nagdugay.
Iya sad ming giandam pareho.
Salamat,
Gerry

Dear Gerry,
Our life is a constant search for meaning as we seek what is really God’s plan for us. It is not surprising for someone to hop from one seminary to another for this search. You can serve God in many other ways, not only as a consecrated person.
Nothing is wasted in your years of your stay in the seminaries. Looking back, perhaps God allowed you to stay in these places so that you will be formed in preparation for the married life that God is calling you to tread. God wants you to acquire your foundation of a good Christian family from there. This just shows how much God loves you because He nurtured your person as He prepared you to a life where you can participate in His creative power.
Congratulations for embracing the Sacrament of Marriage. May Christ be the center of your home and family as you journey together, bringing everyone back to God.
God bless you.
