OLLP PPC-PFC volunteers on election watch
A number of lay leaders of the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Bangkal volunteered with the PPCRV-DADITAMA-DACS-ECHAMP for a clean, honest, accurate, meaningful and peaceful election last May 14, 2018.
“We just pray that no untoward incident will happen on our Barangay and SK Elections,” hopefully uttered by Ways and Means Coordinator Dr. Ma. Iris A. Melliza.
“I’m glad that despite our minimal resources, the parish leaders of Bangkal show the best effort for this electoral responsibility in our parish,” remarked DACS Executive Director Jimmie Loe Dela Vega.
The OLLP PPC-PFC election watch volunteers were headed by PSAM Coordinator Ofelia Bautista who divided the small group into three teams for the three electoral schools within the vicinity of the parish: 4-man team in Leon Garcia Elementary School headed by Dr. Ma. Iris A. Melliza, 3-man team in Doña Soledad Dolor Elementary School headed by Vonzhemar M. Hijada, MAT, and 3-man team in Governor Vicente Duterte National High School headed by PSAM volunteer Vicky Macaday. PDART Coordinator Honorio “Nojun” S. Benasor, Jr., directed the voters’ assistance desk and the monitoring of the entire team.
The whole day and night electoral process in the three schools within the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Bangkal ended peacefully without any untoward incident recorded. (Vonz M. Hijada | Contributor)
