ASAC partners with DTI for organic chicken farming

The Archdiocesan Social Action Center of Davao (ASAC) has partnered with the Department of Trade and Industry in training parishioners in organic chicken farming.

The seminar held April 15 and 16 was attended by 60 individuals who were taught about the health benefits of growing organic chicken.

Aside from that, they are also trained on how to monetize and generate income from growing organic-fed chicken.

ASAC Coordinator Sr. Ma. Marissa Arado, TDM said the seminar was sponsored by DTI Davao and its registration is free. Selected individuals from different parishes were asked to join the seminar.

She added that they are hoping to have another batch of participants soon who will be attending a seminar to help them uplift their lives through income generation.

The two-day training was held at Green Bounty Agri Produce at Eden, Toril, Davao City.
