Soon-to-be priests finish studies in REMASE
DAVAO CITY — Twenty-three seminarians of St. Francis Xavier Regional Major Seminary of Mindanao (REMASE) have finished their theological studies, March 19 and are on their way to preparation for priesthood.
The Theology 4 (T4) seminarians have completed their academic requirements and their seminary formation and the graduation ceremony was held during the 24th Commencement Exercises.
Archbishop of Ozamiz Martin Jumoad officiated the Baccalaureate Mass prior to the graduation ceremony. Archbishop of Davao Romulo G. Valles and Bishop of Surigao Antonieto Cabajug together with priests from different parts of Mindanao concelebrated in the Holy Eucharist.
Archbishop Jumoad lauded the graduates and told them to be obedient to their bishops once they become priests.
Aside from the 23 young men, there are also 29 Theology 3 (T3) seminarians who also finished their degree in Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry, with the conferment and distribution of certificates done during the graduation ceremony.
REMASE Acting Rector, Fr. Reynaldo Retardo led the rites of conferment and graduation of the T4 and T3 seminarians.
