‘Friends of REMASE’ turns 8
This group of people supporting the formation of seminarians has turned eight recently.
The Friends of REMASE, a group which was started in 2010 was formed to support the seminarians by gathering benefactors who will pledge their financial support to the seminary every year.
The annual dinner gathering was held February 10, at the St. Francis Xavier Regional Major Seminary (REMASE) in Catalunan Grande, Davao City.
Msgr. Abel C. Apigo, Rector of REMASE officiated the Holy Mass together with the REMASE formators as concelebrants during the start of the gathering.
The Procurator, Fr. William Cajes gave an update on the status of the finances of the Friends of REMASE for the benefit of the benefactors present.
Prior to the dinner and short program, the announcement on the appointment of Msgr. Apigo as bishop-elect of Mati was made to the delight of the Friends of REMASE and other guests present. (Photos by Brenda P. Milan)
