DADITAMA Clergy Gathering 2017: Launching of the Year of the Clergy and Consecrated Persons

TAGUM CITY — Archbishop Romulo Valles who is the newly elected CBCP (Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines) President presided the mass for the formal launching of the Year of the Clergy and Consecrated Persons themed “Renewed Servant-leaders for the New Evangelization” at the Christ the King Cathedral in Tagum City last Monday, December 4, 2017.
Priests and consecrated persons from Davao, Digos, Tagum and Mati were present in the launching. According to Valles, Tagum has the most number of growing clergy in the Philippines. “It is giving back to the Lord for his kindness and graciousness.” he said.
The said event had masses, short programs, sports such as Basketball, Billiard, Tennis, Badminton, Beach Volley, Volleyball, and Swimming, conference with the Chairman, CBCP ECCler, Most Rev. Buenaventura Famadico, D.D., and workshops.
