Pursuing the Faith: #HAPPYHEALTHYHOLY

More than a hundred single mothers, widowed and ‘young once’ women who are members of Couples for Christ (CFC) Handmaids of the Lord (a family ministry of Couples for Christ) in Davao del Sur and Davao Occidental celebrated their 21st Anniversary last November 12, 2017 at LSV Hotel, Bansalan, Davao del Sur. It was a day of celebration of victory for they were able to stand firmly in their faith, professing God’s love to them through the community.

The day was filled with songs and praises to the Lord. Various games, presentations of talents and fellowship of members from different chapters in 2 provinces were held to the delight of the CFC crowds.

Fr. Allan Joey, the presider of the Holy Mass, reminded the crowd to continue to persevere and foresee the future same as the wise women in the gospel who waited with extra oil; ready and prepared for their bridegroom. Being prepared is a good attitude and how we live our daily life summarizes what our future would be.

Sis. Vita Rivera, the provincial coordinator of the province introduced the leaders and honor them for a wonderful year of evangelization in the province at the same time she welcomes the new members of CFC-Handmaids of the Lord.

The Celebration was a success with a note to everyone that #HAPPYHEALTHYHOLY is God’s gift to those who have faith. And as we continue to pursue the faith planted in each one of us, we are to stand firmly on it also despite struggles and persecutions to become more happy, healthy and holy.
