Mintal church orgs exhibit at parish day

For three days the Immaculate Conception Parish of Mintal celebrated its 57th Parochial Anniversary which started last July 14 and ended last July 16. On the first day, different organizations and individuals offered free medical, dental, and optical services. Free legal consultation, free haircut and a product demonstration were also offered for the parishioners.

On July 15, the celebration started with a Holy Mass that was presided by ICP Mintal Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Jovilo B. Bongay, DCD, along with Rev. Fr. Jose Marie Escuadro, DCD and Rev. Fr. Maximo Bahinting, DCD.

After the Holy Mass, a fellowship lunch was shared by the 15 zones. A program was then followed where different zones and ministries participated in games and talent numbers. In between the program, sacks of rice and grocery items were also raffled among the parishioners which was headed by the Parish Coordinating Council (PCC) representatives. The day ended with an inspirational message from the parish priest Rev. Fr. Jovil. He also grabbed the opportunity to thank the parishioners and different ministries in celebrating it.

The last day was a Center Organizations Exhibit where they presented through visuals the different activities and information about their individual organizations.

The three days of celebration, indeed fulfil this year’s parochial anniversary theme which is “Parokya: Luna sa Nagkahiusang Katilingban nga Maampoon, Masangyawon ug Maalagaron.” (Kendall Joyce T. Abrio | ICP volunteer)
