Sta. Cruz is a Marian ‘Country’

The visit of the pilgrim image of the Our Lady of Fatima in Sta. Cruz shows unity between the government and the church. City Mayor Alexis Almendras, a Marian devotee himself is very thankful for the rare opportunity to welcome the Lady alongside Bishop Guillermo Afable. They did the honor of placing the holy rosary and in crowning The Lady. The Bishop is equally grateful to the office of the mayor for the numerous efforts done to ensure the success of the visit. Today, the state bent to the teachings of the church and the church opened its doors to the state for them to work together in harmony which is exactly what a mother wants to see among her children, God bless the people of Sta.
