HRM Dragons is PWC intrams 2016 champ
The Philippine Women’s College of Davao held its annual intramurals with the theme, “Philwomenians: Embracing Change, Facing Challenges,” last November 9-12, 2016 with the purpose of developing students camaraderie, teamwork and sportsmanship.
Dr. Ida Yap-Patron, PWC Vice President for Academics, sounded the gong to officially open the event, then followed by the cheer dance competition as well as the ball games.
Business Administration or BA Royals finally secured their championship title when they won the final games for the basketball to both men and women categories.
BA Royal’s Janneil Sempio and Krista Villa Abrille were awarded the Most Valuable Players (MVP) this year. Meanwhile, final game for men’s volleyball competition ended with the score 3-1 for BA Royals, while the HRM dragons dominated the women’s category against the Education Blue Titans.
Trophy was awarded to the HRM Dragons as they were once again awarded the overall champion for the 2016 intramural with a score of 2,385.
The Business Administration Department ranked second with a total score of 2,175 points, followed by Tourism Management with 2,095 points.
