UP Mindanao opens intramural

The University of the Philippines Mindanao opened its “Dula “annual sports intramural on October 17 with competitions in banner-raising and cheer-dance.

BS Biology emerged as champions, re-claiming the status they held for a number of years.

BS Agribusiness Economics was the 1st runner-up, and BA Communication Arts was 2nd runner-up.

Also in the competition were BS Architecture, the defending champions, BS Applied Mathematics, and the combined team of BS Food Technology-BS Computer Science.

The panel of judges was composed of Maria Gloria Muana-Tampus, Mr. John Akiatan, and Mr. John Glenn Doromal.

Dula is UP Mindanao’s annual sports intramurals featuring men’s/women’s events in volleyball, chess, dama, lawn-tennis, table-tennis, bowling, dagan-dula, men’s basketball, and Philippine games. The awarding and closing ceremonies are on October 21. (Rene Estremera)
