Sasa GKKs held flower workshop
The Pious Disciples of the Divine Master (PDDM) headed by Sr. Mary Ruth Nardo, in association with Pauline Cooperators, initiated a seminar workshop on Floral Art Arrangement for all GKK leaders of the St. Joseph the Worker Parish held in Our Lady of Peace Chapel, Nova Tiera Village, on September 11.
The seminar aimed at teaching participants how to arrange flowers based on the liturgical season. The speaker said that the offering of flowers is associated with faith and prayers, expressions of love and language. “A simple flower arrangement could be a humble avenue to honor and contemplate the mystery of salvation and to facilitate the encounter with God.” Therefore, flowers are placed surrounding the altar and not on the altar itself.
PDDM is an apostolic-contemplative congregation of the Pauline Family scattered in 31 countries all over the world. Founded by Bl. James Alberione on February 10, 1924, its mission is to proclaim Jesus present in the Eucharist in the liturgy and the priesthood. (Carmen Timario | SJP SoCCom)
